A production of
Sustainable fashion designer Larissa von Planta creates unique upcycled hand-embroidered garments to empower female Middle Eastern artisans.
Beirut-based designer Larissa von Planta upcycles second-hand garments alongside highly-skilled Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian embroiderers to produce fairtrade and ethical sustainable fashion. Featuring high-quality second-hand garments sourced in collaboration with local NGOs the collection unites Larissa’s contemporary eye for design with the time-honed skills of artisans in a celebration of heritage and the human touch. Featuring regionally-specific and historically-significant embroidered motifs the collection will forge a connection between Larissa’s international and conscious customers and the craftswomen to inspire us to contemplate the narrative of the garments we wear.
